    Spiralfrog

Found a great free (and legal) music download site--Spiralfrog. They don't have everything, but they do have quite a bit of both older and new music. I downloaded a bunch of Elton John, Styx, REM, and more. A minor catch is that you have to renew your membership every 30 days, but it doesn't take long and it's worth it.

    New Eagles CD

Just heard from my brother that the Eagles have a new CD coming out soon--I had no idea. Click here to hear a sneak preview of it. I'm listening to it right now--so far I like it a lot. Not bad for a bunch of old guys!

    "Unnecessary" quotation marks

One of my language pet peeves is when people use quotation marks incorrectly. Evidently, I'm not the only one...check out this blog. I find it "hilarious."

    Musicovery

I haven't posted to this blog lately, mainly because I've been focusing all of my blogging energy towards Songs in Haiku. Looking back at the songs I've posted on that site, I definitely notice a correlation between my song choices and my mood. A bad day will more likely mean a depressing song, while a good day brings a happy song.

I ran across a website tonight that fits in with the whole "mood music" theme pretty well. It's called Musicovery. It's an internet radio station, but it allows you to select your mood and will automatically pick appropriate music. You can choose music genres as well as the decade. I listened for quite a while tonight, and it's got a nice selection and makes good choices. Check it out!
