Happy Birthday, Annette

Today is Annette's birthday. We had a fun night at the pool pasta party, followed by ice cream cake and presents. Annette's main gift was Karaoke Revolution (a karaoke game on the XBox). She really rocked on "Fame" and sounded great on "The Greatest Love of All". I tackled "Play that Funky Music (White Boy)" and the 80s A-ha classic "Take on Me".

The Amazing Race: Birthday Edition

The boys wanted to do an Amazing Race birthday party this year. What started off as a small neighborhood scavenger hunt evolved into a major event that included about a dozen adults (drivers, camera operators, etc.), 15 kids, 9 locations around West Chester (including the swim club, a golf course, a park, Dairy Queen, etc.) and countless hours of planning. It all went off without any major glitches, however, and all involved seemed to have a great time. I watch too much TV...

We just returned from a fun weekend in Fort Wayne visiting the Anthony's. I was going through my pictures, and this one made me think of the Cingular "raising the bar" TV ads.

There was a very cool chalk art thing going on in downtown Fort Wayne. I'll post pictures from it soon--but it's my bedtime.
